BANGLADESH
Bangladesh is the founding country of the House of Youth Dialogue (HYD). Initially, the organization began its operations from Dhaka, and it continues to play a pivotal role in the success of HYD globally. Bangladesh is where HYD’s roots were planted, and it remains the backbone of the organization’s endeavors. Each year, HYD hosts 3 to 4 conferences in Bangladesh, serving more than 8,000 to 10,000 students annually. These events are integral to HYD’s mission to empower youth, providing them with the tools to develop leadership, public speaking, negotiation, and diplomatic skills. The Model United Nations (MUN) conferences held here are highly regarded, offering students from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to engage with global issues, simulate real-world diplomacy, and build networks that extend beyond borders. HYD’s work in Bangladesh continues to impact thousands of young minds, making a lasting contribution to the country’s development.
NEPAL
HYD expanded its operations to Nepal in early 2016, becoming one of the pioneering organizations for Model United Nations (MUN) in the country. Nepal, with its rich cultural heritage and history of political transition, has been an ideal platform for HYD to engage young people in global issues and diplomacy. The organization’s MUN conferences in Nepal have attracted thousands of participants, with workshops and training programs designed to hone essential skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership. Nepal continues to be a focal point for HYD’s annual mega MUN conference, which draws youth from across the region, fostering an environment of collaboration and cross-cultural understanding. As one of the leaders in the field, HYD has helped set a new standard for youth involvement in international affairs in Nepal.


UNITED KINGDOM
The United Kingdom (UK) serves as the central operational headquarters for the House of Youth Dialogue (HYD). As a registered charity under the Charity Commission of England and Wales, HYD UK is responsible for overseeing the organization’s activities across Europe and Central Africa. The UK has become the heart of HYD’s international presence, enabling it to expand its reach and establish partnerships with educational institutions. The UK is where strategic planning for various global initiatives takes place, and it serves as a focal point for diplomatic engagement through its Model United Nations (MUN) conferences. HYD UK collaborates with several prominent universities to host MUN events, bringing together students from diverse backgrounds to simulate international diplomacy. These conferences provide a platform for young people in the UK to develop critical skills in communication, problem-solving, and leadership, all while addressing global challenges. HYD UK continues to be at the forefront of empowering youth in the region, creating opportunities for learning, networking, and advocacy on the global stage.
INDIA
HYD began its operations in India in early 2016, establishing a strong presence in one of the most dynamic and diverse countries in South Asia. The youth of India are known for their enthusiasm, determination, and drive, making it an ideal location for HYD’s mission. With some of the most diligent and passionate Model United Nations (MUN) participants, India quickly became one of the key countries in HYD’s global network. Starting in 2017, HYD began hosting its annual Model UN conference in India, which has grown in size and impact each year. The Indian conferences attract thousands of students, offering them opportunities to engage with pressing global issues and refine their skills in diplomacy and negotiation. In addition to MUN conferences, HYD in India organizes various training workshops and programs designed to build leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. These workshops are tailored to help young people in India step into roles of leadership in their communities and on the international stage. HYD’s work in India is vital in cultivating the next generation of change-makers and global leaders.


MALAYSIA
HYD began its operations in Malaysia in 2018, recognizing the country’s dynamic young population and its potential as a hub for youth engagement in Southeast Asia. Malaysia is home to a diverse cultural and ethnic population, making it a unique environment for HYD’s programs. The organization has quickly gained recognition as a key player in the MUN scene in Malaysia, organizing numerous workshops and training sessions to prepare the next generation of leaders. In addition to MUN conferences, HYD also facilitates leadership development programs that emphasize diplomacy, conflict resolution, and public service. Each year, HYD hosts large-scale MUN conferences, drawing in participants from various schools, universities, and institutions throughout Malaysia. The organization’s impact on Malaysia’s youth has been profound, empowering students to pursue careers in diplomacy, governance, and international development, further solidifying Malaysia as an integral part of HYD’s global network.
